Our family farm was established in 1917 by my Great Grandfather, In 2006, my wife Lisa and I were able to obtained 25 acres of the original 75 acre farm adjacent to my parents portion to keep the heritage of the family farm together.
After graduating from Ball State Univeristy with a degree in Natural Resources Environmental Protection, I started a career in Public Health as a Registered Environmental Health Specialist in 1997, A career that has developed a knowledge of entomology. Beekeeping has become an extension of my environmental conservation background.
Our mission at Pipe Creek Honey is to promote and develop the local honey bee pollination populations. We started raising Italian honey bees for their good pollination abilities, honey production, and temper.
Installing the first Nuc hives from Lost Fork Valley Farms in Vevay Indiana.
